Henry Hautau

Henry Hautau, a long time Novato resident, realized his dream to open Kitchen at 868 Grant in January of 2005.

Having worked in restaurants and bars during his college years in Philadelphia, and at his uncle's Irish pub in New Jersey, Henry strove to bring a warm and friendly atmosphere where locals could gather in Novato. 

He paired with friend/chef Chris Douglas to create "Kitchen" and bring to Novato what it had long lacked; an intimate, warm, dining experience referred to by many as "one of the best in the north bay." 

Henry is married with two children, works in the San Francisco Financial District, and resides in the hometown he loves.
